Advanced Science, part of the prestigious Wiley Advanced portfolio, is an open access interdisciplinary science journal publishing the best-in-class fundamental and applied research in materials science, physics, chemistry, medical and life sciences, and engineering. Our mission is to give top science the maximum accessibility through open access publishing. VIEW is a high-quality, interdisciplinary, and rapid-publication open access journal focusing on “biodiagnostics” in the field of biomaterials. From in vitro to in vivo, small to mega, fundamentals to application, with an emphasis on the biomaterials used particularly in biotechnology and medicine.
In 2017, Professor Changsheng Liu proposed the concept of “materiobiology”, which is a scientific discipline that studies the biological effects of the properties of biomaterials on biological functions at cell, tissue, organ, and the whole organism levels. In 2019, the 1st International Symposium on Materiobiology was successfully held in Shanghai, China.
A prestigious scientific gathering curated by editors of Advanced Science, the Advanced Science/VIEW Symposium 2024 AND 2nd International Symposium on Materiobiology aims to showcase cutting-edge research and facilitate networking opportunities between experts. Co-organized by Wiley’s flagship multidisciplinary journals Advanced Science and VIEW, in collaboration with Professional Community of Experimental Medicine, National Association Health Industry Enterprise Management, China Association of In-Vitro Diagnostics, National Association Health Industry Enterprise Management, Shanghai Academy of Experimental Medicine (SAEM), East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, and East China Normal University, is scheduled from 12th to 14th July, 2024 in Fuyue Hotel, Shanghai, China. The event is coinciding with the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Advanced Science and the 5th anniversary of VIEW. We anticipate an audience of approximately 300, bringing together researchers from various fields to inspire collaboration.

Best poster award
In order to encourage the participants to better display their research results and promote international academic exchanges, the organizing committee of the conference has set up a poster exhibition and best poster award selection.
(1) Poster format: 120cm*90cm (H*W). The conference will provide the display boards. The posters will be made and brought to the designated site for pasting by the authors.
(2) Due date: July 5, 2024
(3) Presentation date: July 13-14, 2024
(4) Selection date: July 13, 2024
(5) Selection format: On-site presentation by the authors of the posters and on-site evaluation by the conference panel.
(6) Awarding Date: July 13, 2024, the winners will be announced and awarded at the main forum in the afternoon.
